6-“Friday the 13th Part II” (1981) — Movie version of novel “My Soul to Take”. This film received an Academy Award nomination for art direction, makeup and David Cronenberg’s cinematography. — This film also won Vincent Price the Saturn award for best supporting actor.
7-“The Vampyre” (1982) — Based on the short story by John William Polidori.
8-“Frankenstein” (1931) — A loose adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel, the film tells the story of Dr. Frankenstein and his assistant Fritz, who together create a monster that wreaks havoc throughout the village. The film stars Boris Karloff as Frankenstein’s monster and Colin Clive as Dr. Frankenstein, and was directed by James Whale, who also directed “Bride of Frankenstein”.
